This Privacy Policy explains how UnCram ("UnCram", "we", "our", "us"), operated by Zara Zebra Technologies Inc., collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our web and mobile applications.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: email address and display name you provide at sign-up.
• Study content: notes, flashcards, quizzes, courses, uploaded files, and other material you create or upload.
• Usage data: features used, study progress, XP, streaks, and device/app diagnostics.
• Purchase data: subscription status and transaction identifiers (payment card details are handled by the payment processor, not by us).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the service, generate AI-assisted study materials, personalize your experience, process subscriptions, provide support, and keep the service secure.

3. Service Providers

We share limited data with providers who process it on our behalf:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
• Stripe — subscription payments made on the web.
• Apple & Google — in-app subscription purchases and their verification.
• AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, AWS) — to generate study content from the material you submit. Your content is sent to these providers only to fulfill your request.
• Resend — transactional email.

4. AI Processing

When you use AI features, the content you submit is transmitted to third-party AI providers to produce results. We do not use your private study content to train our own models.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from the app's Settings, or by visiting Account Deletion. Deletion is irreversible.

6. Children's Privacy

UnCram is intended for students and adults. If you are under the age of consent in your region, you must have parent or guardian permission to use UnCram. We do not knowingly collect data from children without appropriate consent.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit and row-level access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
