Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable once billed. Contact us if you believe an error has occurred.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to hack, disrupt, or misuse the service; upload harmful, illegal, abusive, or hateful content; violate academic integrity policies or use UnCram to cheat; reverse-engineer or resell the platform; or impersonate others. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
9. User Content & Imports

Teacher & Educator Terms
Additional Terms for Teacher Accounts
1. Teacher Account Purpose
Teacher accounts are designed for educators to create and manage classroom sessions, live quizzes, and educational content for their students. By registering as a teacher, you confirm that you are an educator, tutor, instructor, or otherwise authorized to provide educational instruction.
2. Student Privacy in Classroom Sessions
No Personal Information Required for Student Participation
Students participating in teacher-led classroom sessions via join codes are NOT required to provide any personal information. UnCram is committed to protecting student privacy:
- Guest Access: Students may join classroom sessions using only a username of their choice and the teacher's join code—no email, name, phone number, or other personal data is collected
- No Subscription Required: Guest students do not need a paid subscription to participate in classroom sessions
- Anonymous Participation: Guest usernames are verified only for uniqueness across the platform to prevent conflicts, not for identity verification
- Session-Only Data: Guest participation data (quiz scores, XP earned) is stored locally in the browser and is not linked to any personal identity
3. Optional Student Registration
Students who wish to track their earned XP points, maintain progress across devices, participate in the Academic Community, or access personal study features may choose to register for a free or paid student subscription. This registration is entirely optional and is the student's (or parent/guardian's) decision.
Teachers may not require students to create paid accounts to participate in classroom activities.
4. Teacher Responsibilities
As a teacher account holder, you agree to:
- Use UnCram classroom features for legitimate educational purposes only
- Not collect or request personal information from students through UnCram
- Ensure quiz and assessment content is appropriate for your students
- Maintain confidentiality of your classroom join codes
- Comply with your institution's data protection and student privacy policies
- Not use classroom features for commercial purposes unrelated to education
5. Data Handling for Classrooms
For teacher-managed classrooms:
- Teachers can view aggregate session data (participation counts, score distributions)
- Guest student usernames are visible to teachers only during active sessions
- No student email addresses or personal contact information is shared with teachers for guest participants
- Registered students who join classrooms may have their display name visible to the teacher, subject to that student's privacy settings
6. COPPA & FERPA Considerations
UnCram is designed with student privacy in mind. Teachers using UnCram in educational settings should ensure compliance with applicable laws (such as COPPA in the US for children under 13, or FERPA for student educational records). Because guest participation requires no personal information collection, classroom sessions can be conducted without triggering personal data collection requirements.
Academic Community Terms
Terms for the UnCram Academic Network
1. Community Purpose
The UnCram Academic Community is a professional academic platform designed exclusively for educational enrichment, intellectual collaboration, and scholarly exchange. This is NOT a general social network—it is a focused environment for students, researchers, and educators to share knowledge, discuss academic topics, and support each other's learning journeys.

All content shared on the Academic Community must be directly related to education and academic pursuits. Permitted content includes:

- Academic achievements, exam preparation updates, and milestone celebrations
- Scholarly discussions, intellectual debates, and knowledge exchange
- Innovative academic ideas and creative educational approaches
- Photos and videos of academic work, study spaces, research, or educational content
3. Prohibited Content
The following is strictly prohibited and will result in content removal and potential account suspension:
- Non-academic personal content (social drama, dating, entertainment)
- Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hateful speech
- Spam, advertisements, or self-promotion unrelated to academic work
- Pirated materials, plagiarism, or content violating academic integrity
- Personal information sharing (phone numbers, addresses, private details)
- Content that undermines the scholarly purpose of the platform
4. Academic Integrity in Community
Users of the Academic Community must uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. Sharing exam answers, facilitating cheating, or posting content that violates institutional academic policies is prohibited and may result in permanent account termination.
5. Intellectual Property
When sharing academic work, research, or ideas, you retain ownership of your intellectual property. By posting, you grant UnCram a license to display your content within the platform. Respect others' intellectual property and always cite sources appropriately.
