Lesson Notes
Section 1 / 14

Strengthen and weaken questions test your ability to diagnose the argument gap and predict what would help or hurt it. The best answers do not add random facts. They directly affect the link between evidence and conclusion. If you can state the gap in one sentence, these questions become predictable.

Short segments for focus-friendly pacing.
Key Points
  • Describe the error, not the topic
  • Weaken attacks the missing link
  • Strengthen supports the missing link
  • Causation and sampling flaws are common
  • Label the flaw type during review
Reflection

Pick one LR question you missed. Identify the flaw type and write one sentence explaining how you would fix the argument.

Quick Check
A strengthen question asks you to:
Which is a common reasoning flaw?
